Back to top Current Response Times and Answering your Enquiries : Unfortunately we currently have significant backlogs caused partly by staff turnover and partly by the testing and training associated with the introduction of a new IT system to support our casework.
We are currently in the process of recruiting and training a number of staff in demand this increase in demand. During the period of recruitment and training, and as we develop and implement new systems to deal with these increases in demand, we may not be able to respond to enquirers in the timescales we would normally hope to.
Although we will make every effort to respond to enquirers in a reasonable time, it may well be that a substantive response is not possible for several weeks, and in some cases for a longer period. These response times are being kept under close review by our senior management.
A wide range of guidance and advice is available on this website and enquirers may find that the information they seek is already available on this site.
If you find you no longer need our advice, please let us know quoting the date you initially contacted us, and any reference number we have given you. However if you still want our advice please note that you do not need to contact us again as if we do not hear to the contrary from you we will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible.
